This past year I decided to look into the purchase of my first home. I knew this would be a huge undertaking so I talked with my Parents and Grandparents about looking into the purchase and where I should start to get the ball rolling. My Parents and Grandparents were long-time friends of Ellsworth and had dealt with him on many issues over the years. Needless to say, they felt given Ellsworth's knowledge in the construction industry and given he had his own Real Estate Company, this would be a great place to start. Ellsworth started the process to set up properties to view in the various areas I was interested in and kept me up to speed on the market conditions in those areas.
In July Ellsworth set up an appointment with Ford Matchim who had just started working with the company. Ellsworth gave me an overview of Ford's experience and expertise and asked me if I would be ok having Ford take on the role of finding my first home.
Needless to say, has agreed to work with Ford I wasn't disappointed. Being a first-time homebuyer I had many questions about the market in terms of pricing, driving routes, shopping, recreation, and the neighborhoods in general.
Ford was never too busy to returns my calls and I had many. He always took the extra time to answer my questions and to make sure I was always comfortable with the advice and answers he provided. He was always keenly aware of my concerns and always made sure I had that extra time to talk with my Parents about any properties we looked at and when we finally settled on one in Conception Bay South he made sure he took the time to meet with my parents when they came in to view the house with me.
I can honestly say the buying experience was made so easy because Ford was always there to guide me through each step of the purchase.
